Make Up Work or Late Assignments
You are expected to make up all assignments regardless of
whether your absences
are excused or unexcused.
Assignments that are completed on
time are given full credit. Assignments will be accepted if
if they are late. 10% will be deducted for each school day
that it is late. You are also expected
to turn in all assignments regardless of how late they are.
What is CHAMPS?
A successful school-wide discipline
program will be implemented this year.
CHAMPs
is a positive, proactive discipline program.
The
goal of the program is to provide teachers a uniform method for
teaching students how they are expected to behave in throughout the
school. The letters of the
word CHAMPS are used to direct the students to the
expectations for
Conversation
(Can students talk to each other during this activity?)
Help (How do
students get the teacher’s attention and their questions
answered?)
Activity
(What is the task/objective? What is the end product?)
Movement (Can
students move about during this activity?)
Participation
(How do students show they are fully participating? What does work
behavior look/sound like?)
CHAMPs will used in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, etc.
Directions for each letter of
CHAMPS will be posted on each teachers board daily so that the
students will know what is expected of them each class.
