•     A young ballplayer wants a chance to play in the major leagues, but he has not been given it.  When he gets an opportunity to show up his manager, he must choose between acting on his anger and maintaining his personal pride and honesty. He chooses to behave honestly.  This proves to a Yankee scout that he is worthy of the major leagues.
